Robert Studer’s creative practice of 30 years spans the realms of art, craft, and industrial design. Robert’s creativity is evident in contributions of works in public art, product design, sculpture, interior design, graphic communications, guerilla art, exhibition design and curation.

His career has evolved predominantly through intuition rather than any formal practice, deriving his knowledge and skills from doing, trial and error and the desire to bring an idea or feeling into material existence.

Robert’s use of salvaged and discarded material has earned him the Western Living Designer of the Year Award 2009, for industrial design and eco-design and also the Vancouver Mayors Arts Awards for Craft in 2011.
